This versatile method comes in handy not only when checking your own pulse but checking others, operating a fetal doppler machine and checking the accuracy of other monitors. An approximate measurement of the Heart Rate is prominently displayed at the top of the screen in BPM (Beats Per Minute) and is provided in as little as 2 taps, but is most accurate over 5 taps.
